Abstract

By the results of geophysical researches performed
on a shaft of the "S. M. Kirov" mine the plug soil
depth and support fragments were defined in the
broken shaft 50-55 m as well as bedrock depth of
20-25 m. Proceeding from the obtained data, according to RD 07-291-99 "The instruction on the
order of conducting operations on elimination and
preservation hazardous production facilities connected with use of natural resources" the recommendations providing for elimination the mine
shaft with due regard for its critical state were developed.
