Abstract

The drawbacks of previously developed process of
the Oleny Ruchey deposit reserves subsurface mining are revealed, the ore being hoisted to the surface through a vertical skip shaft and a conveyor
adit. Efficient schemes of the deposit development
were worked out employing up-to-date conveyors
that provide for staged mine introduction into operation. Dependencies of a belt conveyor’s technological parameters have been obtained that permit
to partially typify and simplify its operating calculation. An extended feasibility comparison was performed on the methods proposed. The advantages
of staged mining subsurface reserves of the Oleny
Ruchey deposit by inclined conveyer shaft are displayed.
