Abstract

The article presents the results of geotechnical studies of the North pit of "EVRAZ KGOK". The study
of both rock mass structural-tectonic structure and
parameters of position the main systems of cracks
allowed pit field zoning according to blocking and
identifies the causes of the increased oversize output
in a number of rock mass sections. The measures
have been developed to improve the quality of
blasted rock mass crushing.
