Abstract

The article presents the results of researches aimed
at improving the development of the Urupsky chalcopyrite deposit. The variants for the development
of systems based on the employment of traditional
and modern self-propelled equipment are worked
out. In terms of their technical and economic comparison it is determined that the developed technologies employing mobile equipment can significantly
improve the deposit mining basic performance in
comparison with conventional technology. Mobility
and adaptability permit to put mining units in operation gradually, to produce the filling of completed
chambers with waste rock from tunneling and clearing activities, as a result to provide for mining the
reserves of the Urupsky underground mine lower
horizons without production capacity elimination
during the transition period.
