Abstract

The results of application the methodology of estimation economic efficiency of open pits’ mining and
transport complexes in terms of combination both
the monitoring automated system and simulation
modeling for a specific open pit are adduced. The
methodology’s efficiency is corroborated by industrial experiment results in concrete mining-technical and mining-geometrical conditions on the example of one of the largest and known open pits. The
procedure of objective estimation the efficiency of
pit trucks operation is revealed; the latter being calculated in accordance with two inter-supplementary
criteria, that is fuel consumption in grams per ton
(m3) and working efficiency in tons per hour. For estimation the methodology’s accuracy in the open pit
conditions both appropriate chronometric observations were performed and data of operative accounting adopted at the plant were used.
