Abstract

The article presents the results of tests of brake pads
with improved performance, the use of which allows
to increase the safety of operation of traction means
for reducing braking distances compared to standard pads, as well as reduce the risk of fire due to the
low level of sparking. The deceleration time is reduced by 25 % , stopping distance traction means
30 %. The life of high phosphorus pads in the
2,5 - 4,0 times more than standard pads, as well as
improving a number of other performance indicators.
