RUBBER-ROPE CONEYOR BELTS’ OPERATIONAL PROPERTIES IMPROVEMENT

Abstract

Both the new design and method of manufacturing
rubber-rope conveyor belt are considered. Belt application, reduces labour expenditures for ends
joints manufacture. The ropes at the ends of belt segments are isolated from rubber with individual cloth
strips or paper, or with a film placed across ropes.
Conveyors and manufacturing equipment downtimes are reduced when belt mounting is carried out.
