Abstract

The relationship between the detonation characteristics of emulsion explosives is not currently expressed in a general law, thus the ratio of these
characteristics is determined experimentally. The
article presents the essence of the rheostat method
of measurement both the detonation velocity and approach to experimental determination the relationship between explosives (EE) density, detonation velocity and charge diameter for the emulsion explosives, nitronit being an example. As a result of studies the detonation characteristics of EE graphic and
analytical method for determining the relationship
between these three parameters is set forth, allowing
to predict the detonation velocity according to the
measured density when the explosive cavity of
known diameter is charged.
