FEATURES OF ROCKS’ PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES SUBJECTED TO METASOMATIC MODIFICATIONS

Abstract

The article is devoted to studying the formation of
volcanic rocks’ composition, structure and physical
and mechanical properties under the influence of
hydrothermal and meta-somatic processes on the
example of the North Kaluginsky copper pyrite deposit. The influence of mineralogical characteristics
on physical and mechanical properties is indicated;
their change in the course of hydrothermal process
is retraced. Modification zoning of rocks’ physical
and mechanical properties is set.
