Abstract

The article presents the results of processing laser
scanning data and geo-radar sensing data obtained
before and after blasting on areas of working
benches of the "Zheleznyy" open pit, JSC "Kovdor
GOK" mining company. The methodology of geo-radar research for obtaining contour of break surface
is described. Joint analysis of laser scanning and
geo-radar research has led to the conclusion on the
shape of break surface and its location relative to
the surface of the bench before blasting and to the
surface of broken rock mass formed after blasting.
