Abstract

The paper presents geo-informational approach to
the problem of increasing the completeness of reserves extraction during placers development by
open pit. Using content isosurfaces has permitted to
set a mathematical apparatus for determining the
parameters of mining the marginal areas (roof, soil
and deposit walls), taking into account the breakeven production and processing of enclosing rocks
containing useful component.
