Abstract

The article onsidered the features of the structure
and properties of rocks in areas permafrost propagation, engineering-geological processes occurring
when using them as the bases of engineering constructions. Substantiated methods of studying the
structure and properties of soils permitting to take
into account all processes occurring in the conditions of permafrost areas that affect sustainability
and durability of engineering constructions.
