Abstract

The paper presents the numerical modeling results concerning natural convection and the conjugated heat transfer in porous medium, which is spherically symmetric relatively the center of an underground nuclear explosion (UNE). The porosity and
permeability parameters of porous medium were determined. The effect of these parameters on the heat and mass transfer rate in porous media is considered. The features of the temperature distribution, their temporal dynamics and dependence on
permeability and porosity parameters of the medium are denoted
