In the framework of the research expedition in the site of the "Uralasbest" mining and processing plant pilot and commercial tests were conducted to identify the index of explosion products expansion for industrial emulsion explosive poremit 1A. According to the results of the experiment the ratio of the radius of the ring charge (R) to the radius of explosive gases (r) zone was k = 2,33, which is approximately 22% less than the expansion of the explosion products to a regular BB (k = 3).In terms of this the supposition was assumed that the detonation pressure of poremit 1A may be higher than calculated (if taken in the calculations k = 3) by about 20%. A more precise definition of this indicator, through a series of pilot and commercial tests not only poremit 1A, but others, maintaining the purity of the experiment will allow to clarify the detonation pressure and determine rational parameters of drilling and blasting operations in excavation blocks.
