Abstract

The article formulates approaches to the solution of deep open pits’ transport systems. A number of technological targets that require solutions at the present stage of surface mining development are determined.. changes in mining conditions of transport systems development of the largest iron ore pits of Russia for the period of 1990-2015 are given. Recommendations for addressing the most important scientific and technological issues in the design of deep open pits transport systems are given.
