Abstract

For grounding the parameters of open pit transport systems it is often required to estimate the impact of the selected solution on the shape and volume of the pits, additionally extracted the overburden in particular to accommodate transport and communications at the pit. The article presents the comparison of analytical methods of volume calculation depending on its parameters according to the calculation errors. The comparison was conducted with data of three-dimensional computer modeling in Mine Frame. The regularities of changing errors are determined and the method is proposed to improve the
accuracy of the calculations by taking into account the systematic errors. Test calculations have shown the convergence of the results of the proposed method with error not exceeding 4%.
