GEOECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS BY DEVELOPING OF HEAVY OIL FIELDS AND NATURAL BITUMEN ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE NORTH-CAUCASIAN OIL AND GAS PROVINCE

Abstract

The analysis of deposits occurrence conditions and physico-chemical properties of heavy oil and natural bitumen fields of the North-Caucasian oil and gas province, the oldest oil-producing area of Russia is given. The resource base of the deposits have been studied. It is shown that the Krasnodar region, characterized by wide and well-developed infrastructure is one of the major priority objekts on the European territory of Russia for the organization of detailed work for developing of alternative sources of hydrocarbons
