Abstract

The features of the requirements presenting for visual GIS environment in the field of geological and
geochemical studies are viewed. A large amount of
data layers is mentioned as one of the problems. The
option of reducing their dimensions using additive
and multiplicative geo-chemical indicators that is
"modules" that are proposed for mapping with due
regards for expert classifications is considered
