Abstract

In mining enterprises, executing blasting works using non-electric initiation systems, there is the question of the simultaneous initiation of explosive loades with different delay time. In consequence of it there is a violation of the design scheme of initiation. This entails the overlapping of seismic waves, the deterioration of the quality of fragmentation, the damaging of the peripheral area of the array, increasing the areas for separation of fragments of rock. The article presents a method of instrumental measurement of the actual deceleration intervals of non-electric initiation systems on the example of products manufactured by JSC “NMZ Iskra”. Their difference from nominal (factory) is established. The application of this technique will allow to evaluate the deceleration intervals used by non-electric initiation systems of different manufacturers in operation conditions .
