Abstract

The article considers geological and structural features of Delken gold deposit, as well as physical and mechanical properties of the rocks. The following parameters were determined: density, porosity, uniaxial compression strength, uniaxial tensile strength, rock strength according to the Protodyakonov scale, elastic properties of rocks (Poisson's ratio and Young's modulus). The presses ToniPACT II – 2091 and ToniNORM – 2020 were used for the tests. Based on the measurement results, a rock strength certificate was developed which allows to determine the angle of internal friction and adhesion.
