Abstract

A new condition is grounded for conveyor traction
force realization following from the alternative
solving the Euler classic task on a flexible body
sliding along a block. It is determined by the friction coefficient of a flexible body, total effort of its
tension on a driving drum, wrapping angle as well
as by its weight and speed. For the first time a new
solution takes into account a nature fundamental
principle that is the law of mechanic energy conservation, up-to-date knowledge on friction of bodies and centrifugal force influence.
The new alternative conclusion of results of the
Euler task solution on a flexible body sliding along
a block develops knowledge on a flexible body
friction, favors the progress in scientific researches, education, engineering and national
economy for efficient conveyers employment in
open pits’ transport systems.
