Abstract

The article considers two variants of arrangement freight
delivery of slags in the «Eastern» open pit using railway
transport. It is proposed to use railway dumping in the
technical stage of reclamation. The calculation of economic indices of the «Eastern» open pit reclamation is
performed. The use of railway transport, to reduce
transport costs, contributes to the achievement of maximum economic effect from the use of the worked out pit’s
area and dumps of overburden rocks, formed as a container for disposal of industrial pit’s wastes and dumps for
placement metallurgical production wastes.
