Abstract

The economic effectiveness of the production safety management system is determined by the effective allocation of resources, taking into account the hazards that may arise in the process of production activities. Two scenarios of the production safety management system at the mining enterprise are possible — when the hazardous production situation is under control and when it is uncontrollably result in a negative event — have become the basis for the development of economic criterion for the effectiveness of this system.
The economic criterion of the effectiveness of the production safety management system characterizes economic expediency and competitiveness of the system functioning at an enterprise. This criterion is the ratio of the means, aimed at improvement the violations of safety requirements and consequences of negative events removal to the costs of ensuring standard safe working conditions, control and elimination of hazardous production situations.
