Studies on the features of the dynamic and kinematic characteristics of elastoplastic deformations induced by technological explosions while multi-row short-deferred blasting allowed to estimate the crushing and displacement mechanism of the out-ofcontour array and to develop ways to control this mechanism for the increasing the crushing degree of the blasted part of the array by reducing the blast energy transferred to the out-contouring array. The method for calculation the time intervals of deceleration between charges based on the kinetic of elastoplastic deformations with account for the established relationships with the physical and mechanical as well as structural characteristics of rocks and the explosive characteristics of explosives has been developed and approved under industrial conditions.
