Abstract

Currently, sulphide nickel ores are the main raw
material for nickel production:, they account for
about 60% of world nickel production . However,
the rapid global industry development and the increasing consumption of nickel have led to the depletion world reserves of sulphide ores. In this regard, the global nickel industry faces the problem of
questing for new nickel sources, which include lowgrade off-balanced ores containing nickel not less
than 0,5 %.
The aim of this work is to study the procedures of
extracting nickel, cobalt and related metals from
sulfuric acid solutions containing nickel by hydrolytic method.
