The article presents a brief history of the development of the Research and Design Institute of Mining and Processing Engineering "NIPIGORMASH"
and outlines its role in the mechanization of drilling and blasting operations at domestic mining enterprises. The paper describes the creation of an underground mixing and charging module MSZP-4MZ in detail and presents a new developed industrial emulsion explosive NPGM-P-II, which is used during blasting operations on rocks and ores containing sulfides – on the Earth's surface and in underground workings that are not dangerous for gas and (or) coal dust, as well as in underground workings that are dangerous for gas, provided that the inertisation of the face space is used, which excludes the ignition of an explosive environment.
