ON KEEPING UP RAW MATERIAL BASE AND PRINCIPAL TENDENCIES OF THE URAL COPPER SUB-BRANCH INNOVATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Keywords:
raw material base, copper extra balance ores, ore preparation, roentgen and radiometric separationAbstract
In terms of plants’ summary documentation analysis the principal tendencies of their mining works
development are formulated as well as measures on
mineral resources saving and preservation.
The involvement of extra balance ores into development at the expense of ore preparation arrangement
employing the procedures of roentgen and radiometric separation at the sites of conducting mining
operations is indicated to be the considerable reserve of expansion the copper sub-branch raw material base.
Technological tests of extra balance ores in Sayaksky and Jezkasgansky deposits (Kazhakhstan) as
well as of the analogous ores in the Ural deposits
are indicative of the fact that the brought forward
procedure of pre-sorting could substantially expand raw material base and reduce subsurface
losses.
Six groups of extra balance ores of copper-containing deposits in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions are singled out. The promising and relatively
non-costly procedures of metal re-extraction from
various sorts of losses of mining and concentration
are brought forward that require extra studying.
