Abstract

The progress of V.L. Yakovlev’s ideas on due regard for
the influence of technical operating conditions on the
performance of open pit motor transport. In terms of the
results of experimental and analytical investigations the
procedure of calculation horizontal equivalents and coefficients reducing actual transport distances to the conditional horizontal distance using fuel consumption, travel
time (performance) dump trucks and action is worked
out. The formulas for calculating the horizontal equivalents for dump trucks ascent and descent operation with
rock mass are proposed. As a result of the procedure
testing it is set up that the use of horizontal equivalents
allows to improve the accuracy of calculations and to
simplify the process of planning and regulation the operational indicators of mining dump trucks, especially in
difficult mining conditions.
