URGENT PROBLEMS OF OPEN PITS’ RAILWAY TRANSPORT

Abstract

The paper presents the procedure of forecast evaluation energy expenditures for operating traction
facilities of open pit railway transport with due
regard for increasing the rock mass hoisting
height at the current gravity center changing the
volumes of rock mass transportation; the simulation results of railway transport operation are cited. The carrying capacity scheme of railway track
and gridiron arrangement is grounded for an orecarrying district of the JSC "Eurasia KGOK ". The
procedure, facilities as well as the practice of
rolling stock brake tests in the JSC "Uralasbest."open pit are presented
