Abstract

The influence of a previously driven working on the
stressed state of inter-chamber pillars adjoining it is
studied. The investigations were carried out in the
conditions of Satkinsky magnesites deposit. Mathematical modeling of stressed state distribution in the
locations of adjoining the existing working to implemented pillars is performed. The analysis of calculation results allows to conclude that the under view
area of ore body mining will be on the verge of critical state as the stresses on the contour of workings
make up 85-90% of critical values; this occurs while
the pillars approach the existing working at the distance that is less its one diameter from the pillar’s
wall.
