Abstract

The results of elaboration up-to-date air distribution control method in the mines. The proposed
monitoring system is grounded on integration of
air flow sensor readings that are set in mine
workings with air distribution determination in
“AeroSet” software package. The monitoring
system is based on solution the inverse air flow
distribution problem in the whole mine ventilation
network in terms of air flow sensor readings. As
a result, the prediction of air flows in the whole
ventilation network, including airways without
mounted air flow sensors is accomplished.
